 Do you remember how mystified the world was when Sairat was released? Although it is a Marathi film, even the non-Marathi public has pushed the theater to miss this promising story of a love story. But it all started with a rather innocent poster. At a glance, and all you can do of the movie is that it's a sweet love story. But we all know how the movie worked, did not we?

Now, the Hindi film is redone in Dhadak and is hijacked by Shashank Khaitan. Now that Karan Johar introduces beginners, it's no wonder Dhadak is one of the most anticipated projects next year. The first poster of the film, like that of its regional counterpart, is rather romantic. However, it offers an overview of the different parameters that this film will have. 


He wanted Ishaan’s debut movie to be a Dharma production.  But, Ishaan refused Johar’s film altogether, saying he wanted Majidi’s film to be his launch pad. So eventually, Karan waited and allowed Ishaan to take his own decision. 

Dhadak is a Hindi remake of Marathi super-hit movie, Sairat. 
Talking about Dhadak as well as Ishaan and Janhvi, Karan had earlier said, "At Dharma (Productions), we believe very strongly in promoting new talent. A host of first time filmmakers, technicians and actors have begun their journey in the entertainment industry from the corridors of our company. I am exhilarated and proud to present two sparkling new energies and new acting talents- Janhvi and Ishaan- that will begin their cinema story with us. Also, I am very honoured to collaborate with Zee studios on this ambitious adaptation of the hugely successful and celebrated Marathi film Sairat."

Dhadak will go on floors in December and will be filmed in Rajasthan.The movie is slated to release on July 6, 2018.
