An official announcement of the end of the manufacturers is still pending, the rumors about the thrilling romantic thriller Ek Villain 2 of Kriti against Sidharth Malhotra are already underway.
Ek Villain, released in 2014, played alongside Shriddha Kapoor alongside Sidharth Malhotra. The animated actress and the chemistry of the handsome males have been greatly appreciated by fans and critics alike. The movie played Riteish Deshmukh as the villain. Now, however, as speculation about Kriti comes on board, it remains to be seen whether she will be able to fill Shraddha's shoes.
Sid and Kriti have already shared screen space in a musical "As I Am" anthem for American fashion and line brand Swan. While the fashion brand's campaign had an unparalleled effect, the pair of two actors held a lot of attention from filmmakers until Mohit Suri decided to launch both.
Sidharth Malhotra is now preparing for the release of his Aiyaary directed by Neeraj Pandey. The film also plays Manoj Bajpayee, Rakul Preet Singh and Pooja Chopra in important roles. Meanwhile Arjun Patiala is the second project of Kriti Sanon with Dinesh Vijan. The actress already played in her film Raabta next to her alleged friend, Sidharth Malhotra, who turned out to be a failed box office.
But this time around, buzz has it that Kriti Sanon will replace Shraddha Kapoor in Ek Villain 2.
Kriti, who's riding high on the success of her last film Bareilly Ki Barfi, is busy signing interesting projects.

Sidharth, on the other hand, will be seen in Aiyaary along with Manoj Bajpayee.
