BollywoodLife has reported earlier that Akshay Kumar will be playing five different characters in Omung Kumar's upcoming film with the same name and the movie was expected to go on the floors in March next year.

Five is a Hindi psychological thriller directed by Omung Kumar with Utkarshini Vashishtha as the writer, forming part of the crew.

Filmmaker Omung Kumar, who is moving from biopics to a psychological thriller with Five, says his new project will be a completely different experience for him.

After Mary Komand Sarbjit Omung goes behind the camera for Five, which is already scheduled for the release of Republic Day, 2018. The film is recorded in a 70-day calendar and is compared to venues in London and other parts of the Great -Britain.

"It's a completely different film for me, I've been doing this project for a number of years now and I'm glad it's time to let the film go to the ground," Omung said in a statement.

Bhushan Kumar and Sandeep Singh, who produced Omung's latest film, Sarbjit, meet for the psychological thriller. This film  release date 31 Dec, 2018.
