Priyanka Chopra finalises Kalpana Chawla biopic Movie

Priyanka Chopra could return from Bollywood with biopic Kalpana Chawla.

Priyanka Chopra has just landed in Mumbai, and the world has already started talking about Bollywood projects she might consider. One of the most anticipated projects that PeeCee is likely to sign is Kalpana Chawla's biopic.

Mid-Day quotes a source that says Priyanka's team has locked the script. So, does that mean she said yes to the project? Well, nothing has been announced yet. Meanwhile, the tabloid sheet revealed a number of details about the film. The biopic would be led by Priya Mishra who has been working on the project for seven years.

Last year, Viacom 18 announced a biopic of an astronaut, but did not reveal anything about the film. Reports suggest, however, that this film would be produced by a new production company called Getaway. Sources also claim that the actor has already signed the unread thriller movie by director Aniruddha Roy Chowdhary. Reporter can not verify the information independently.

In terms of work, Priyanka has packed the second season of its Quantico American series. The actor took a short break from his busy schedule and would return to Los Angeles for promotions of his first film in Hollywood Baywatch in which she would share screen space with actors Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron.

Considering we are already in April and Priyanka hasn’t been able to put pen on paper, her Bollywood film will not release before mid-2019.
