Rajhanikanth movie Kaala does not release on Pongal, says Dhanush

Rajinikanth's Kaala recordings are continuing well. Kaala is Pa Ranjith's second consecutive outing with Rajinikanth after the Kabali blockbuster last year. The film also plays important roles, including Nana Patekar, Samuthirakani, Pankaj Tripathi.
Wunderbar Films, the Tamil actor of production house Dhanush, issued a clarification Monday to end rumors about the release date of superstar Rajinikanth, Kaala. Filmmakers said the next gangster movie will not be ready for release in January.
The news comes amidst speculation that the release of Rajinikanth's much anticipated 2.0 movie could be postponed for post-production reasons. However, the official release date of the sci-fi mega-budget movie is still January 25, 2018.
Bollywood actress Huma Qureshi seems to have finished recording her promotions for her first tamal movie, Kaala. She took Twitter and thanked the director for pouring it into the movie.
According to reports, the filming of Kaala will be completed in November, after which the post-production begins.
The film was released earlier this year on floors in Mumbai. After completing the first program in the city, the filmmakers returned to Chennai. They filmed there on a Dharavi set that was built in EVP Film City, allegedly at the expense of Rs 5 crore.

Kaala deals with the Tamil battle of Thirunelveli in Mumbai. And Rajinikanth plays a gift, fighting for the rights of an oppressed class.
