Stree Teaser Shraddha Kapoor And Rajkummar Rao.

The creators of Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao starrer O Stree revealed the release date of the horror comedy by sharing a ghostly video clip of 59 seconds.

The camera slides slowly through the alleys of a dimly lit place at night. On the walls of the houses in the deserted place, one can find 'O Stree Kal Aana' written.

Shraddha tweeted: "August 31, keer in koi tumhe dhoondne aa raha hai Dekho kaun hai.

Decision makers also unveiled a poster. On the poster, we see a silhouette like a saree spirit, suspended in the air in the middle of a path abandoned at the darkest hour of the night. On one of the walls, you can see a poster of "missing" people.

This film, due out on August 31, marks the first film of Shraddha and Rajkummar. However, since it is a horror comedy, we do not really know which characters they will play.

According to Maddock Film, "Stree is a first horror comedy based on a ridiculous phenomenon (sic)".

Directed by Amar Kaushik, the film is written by Raj and DK. The duo also produced the film with Dinesh Vijan.

The film also sparkles Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurana and Abhishek Banerjee.

The film is placed in the background of a city called Chanderi. The music for the film was composed by Sachin-Jigar.

Rajkummar Rao is ready for a star in a horror comedy titled "Stree" next to Shraddha Kapoor. Both have finished shooting for the same and have recently released a small preview of the film.

During a conversation with an entertainment portal, Rajkummar Rao opened his film and his work experience with Shraddha Kapoor. The actor 'Trapped' said he had a great time photographing for 'Stree'. He added that the film is his first horror comedy and he is very excited about the same thing.



Speaking of co-star Shraddha Kapoor, Rajkummar said it was great to shoot with her. He even praised Shraddha and said she was a very hardworking and dedicated actress.


Stree is based on an urban legend from the village of Chanderi in Bhopal. The film is directed by Amar Kaushik and appears on August 31st.
