The trailer was launched on the occasion of the 72nd anniversary of Shawahan Bhawal, to commemorate the event on which the film is based.
Ek I Chhilo Raja talks about the 1930s Bhawal Sanyasi lawsuit that provoked a storm in the country and is one of the most cited cases in the history of legislation.
In the film Jishu Sengupta will be considered the Bhawal sanyasi while Jaya Ahsan, Anjan Dutt, Aparna Sen, Anirban Bhattacharya, Rudranil Ghosh, Barun Chanda and Paul Rajnandini play other important characters.

The film should be released on October 12th.
