Sardar Udham Singh is an upcoming biographical film in Indian Hindi directed by Shoojit Sircar produced by Ronnie Lahiri and Sheel Kumar and written by Ritesh Shah and Shubhendu Bhattacharya under the banner of Rising Sun Films and Kino Works.
The film features Vicky Kaushal as Udham Singh, a revolutionary freedom fighter best known for the revenge murder of Michael O'Dwyer, former Lieutenant Governor of Punjab in India, March 13, 1940, in London.
from the Jallianwala Massacre at Bagh at Amritsar in 1919, for which Singh was later tried and found guilty of murder, and hanged on July 31, 1940.
