Halloween (2018) is Direct Sequel to Original Film, Confirms John Carpenter
All signs indicate that David Gordon Green and Danny McBride are restoring to Michael Myers his terrifying roots in the rebound of the Halloween franchise next October, which aims to undo much of the franchise's clutter and return to the based. According to McBride, the new movie will start shooting this fall, so we need to learn faster.
In the meantime, Collider has just taken a picture of a first piece of promo art that can be seen at the current Licensing Expo, which looks very classic and true to the original Halloween poster art.
