Sunny Deol to reunite with Gadar 2 director Anil Sharma

Last week, there were reports on Shahid Kapoor and Imtiaz Ali gathered for a movie, after a gap of 10 years. Now, another duo of popular actors' directors comes with their next film - Sunny Deol and Anil Sharma.

Unveils a source: "Sunny and Anil have always shared a great working relationship." Anil had this scenario and approached Deol who immediately agreed to be part of the movie, named Kavach. 

It will be their fifth film together, and their first film, Gadar 2: Ek Prem Katha, released in 2001, is considered one of the greatest hits in Indian cinema, and Sunny and Anil have collaborated on three other films: The Hero (2002) Apne (2007) and Singh Saab The Great (2013) have been together for almost five years now.

Our source adds: "Sharma will start this film right after next, starting to shoot for Kavach next year and the film should appear in the last quarter of 2018 or January 2019, depending on their schedule." Anil does not want to announce the details of the project at the moment. 

He says, "I'm finishing Genius, Utkarsh's first film, and I do not want to talk about another film now."

Gadar 2 - After the huge success of Gadar and the many requests to make the following, the director Anil Sharma now decides to do a sequel (Gadar 2). But here, there is still no official announcement on the follow-up film.


Anil Sharma's son, Utkarsh Sharma, played a role in the first film as the son of Sunny Deol and Amisha Patel, according to the news he will also play a role in the sequel.
